Psalm Twenty-Me:

Conversing with God Through Poetry

  • Psalm Twenty-Me is an expanded poetry workshop that helps participants grow in both their writing craft and communion with Father God.

  • Instead of a single 2-3 hour session, this is an expanded workshop where participants are able to stay in contact through a messenger thread on “off” weeks throughout the month of June.

    Sunday, June 7 @ 1:30-3:00pm
    Sunday, June 21 @ 1:30-3:00pm

*Both dates will be @ Dayspring Ministry in Amherst, VA.

  • This workshop is only opened to 10 select individuals (yay you!) because smaller groups tend to trend better for creative discussion.

The first hour will be a combination of discussing craft and creative exercises. There will be an optional 20 minute writing session at the end for participants to work on their own personal psalm.

(Participants are free to slip out during the 10ish minute intermission/stretch break.)

  • There will be a private Messenger thread for participants to correspond with one another and with me.

I plan to share craft essays/inspiration as well throughout the month of June.

  • Whether you engage with your creative voice on a daily basis or the last time you wrote a poem was when your fifth-grade teacher (or mom) made you, Psalm Twenty-Me has space for you.

  • Absolutely nothing! What I do want you to spend is time with Father God. Invest in your relationship by trying something new and creating art together.

  • Don’t be.

  • You should be!

  • Whether or not you’re able to join, please let me know no later than Monday, June 1, 2026.
